This work is free. Being human isn’t.

I’ve spent 38 years participating in this rather questionable human experiment, and frankly, I have concerns. 😂

Why do humans do the things we do? Why is growing up so unnecessarily complicated? Why does parenting come without an instruction manual? And why do we keep repeating behaviors that clearly aren’t working?

I have questions. LOTS of questions.

So I’ve decided to investigate.

Welcome to my very informal, independently conducted exploration of the human experience.

Through curiosity, published research, lived experience, and an occasionally inappropriate sense of humor, I’m creating free guides to help teenagers survive adolescence, parents survive teenagers, and the rest of us survive ourselves.

Because apparently, we’re handing people complicated brains, unpredictable hormones, unresolved childhood issues, and absolutely no operating instructions.

And then we act surprised when things go sideways. 💀😂

I’d like to improve that system.

My goal is to make practical knowledge, critical thinking, and human discernment accessible to everyone, regardless of their ability to pay.

Which brings us to this little contribution jar.

If my writing has helped you think differently, understand yourself, laugh at the absurdity of being alive, or avoid making at least ONE spectacularly questionable decision, you’re welcome to support this human.

Your contributions help me continue exploring, reading, writing, creating free guides, and maintaining this little corner of the internet.

And occasionally maintaining the researcher herself.

Apparently, this human requires Salonpas patches, hydrating face masks, naps, and periodic isolation from the very species she’s attempting to understand. 😂

No pressure. No guilt. No dramatic violin music.

Just one curious human trying to make life a little less unnecessarily difficult for the next generation.

And who knows?

Maybe one day I’ll receive the Nobel Peace Prize for helping humanity stop driving itself absolutely insane.

Until then, I’ll settle for keeping the website running. 🏆🤣

Thank you for supporting my unofficial investigation into humanity. Results are preliminary, the sample size is questionable, and unfortunately, the researcher is also a participant. 👽
