HUMAN DISCERNMENT

by Yessica Jennings

🌿 OPENING: YOU’RE NOT BROKEN ANYMORE… NOW WHAT?

So… you did the work.

You cried.
You journaled.
You set boundaries.
You had the conversations you used to avoid.

(And maybe lit a candle or two… no judgment 😅🕯️)

👉 You faced yourself.

(Which honestly deserves a standing ovation because most people will reorganize their entire kitchen, alphabetize their spices, and deep clean their fridge before they sit with their own thoughts 😅👏)

And for a moment… things got quiet.

Not perfect.
Not magical.
Not “I’ve unlocked the final level and now nothing bothers me ever again.” 😌✨

👉 Just… quieter.

Like your nervous system finally unclenched a little and said:

👉 “Okay… we’re not fighting for our life today. Love that for us.” 🫶😌

And now you’re sitting there like:

👉 “Okay… so why do I still get irritated sometimes?” 😅
👉 “Why do I still overthink certain things?”
👉 “Why did I almost send that message yesterday like I learned absolutely nothing?” 😬📱

Welcome.

👉 This is the part nobody really talks about.

Because healing isn’t the finish line.

👉 It’s the moment you stop bleeding.

It’s when you’re finally not bleeding anymore…
but you’re still a little weak, a little confused, and slightly offended you’re not instantly thriving 😅

It’s the moment the chaos slows down enough for you to finally breathe…

👉 but not the moment life suddenly becomes easy, peaceful, and perfectly aligned forever.

That version?

👉 Doesn’t exist.

I know. Rude. 😅

There is no final level where:

  • nothing triggers you
  • everyone behaves correctly
  • and you wake up every day like a calm, hydrated human who has their life together 😌💧

👉 You’re still human.

👉 You just have better awareness now.

And that’s actually where your power begins. 👀✨

Because now the work changes.

It’s no longer about:

  • surviving
  • understanding your pain
  • untangling your past

👉 You’ve already done the emotional archaeology.

You dug the bones.
You named the wounds.
You connected the dots.

👉 You know why you are the way you are.

Congratulations.

👉 You solved the mystery. Case closed. 🕵️‍♀️😏

Now what? 😅

Now it becomes something quieter… and way less dramatic.

(Yes, less dramatic… I know, disappointing 😏)

Now the work is:

➝ learning how not to reopen the wound
➝ learning how to stay with yourself when things feel uncomfortable
➝ learning how to respond instead of react
➝ learning how to live… without abandoning yourself every time something feels inconvenient

This is where most people get confused.

They think:

👉 “If I still feel something… I must not be healed.”

Meanwhile they felt one emotion and immediately diagnosed themselves with “back to square one.” 😅📉

👉 But that’s not true.

👉 Feeling doesn’t mean you’re broken.

👉 Feeling means… congratulations… your nervous system still works. 👏

Reacting unconsciously… repeating patterns… abandoning yourself…

👉 that’s where the real work lives now.

Because healing didn’t remove your emotions.

👉 It just removed some of the chaos around them.

You still have feelings.

👉 You just don’t have to turn every single one into:

  • a reaction
  • a decision
  • a paragraph
  • or a full personality shift 😅

Because let’s be honest…

Some of us felt one emotion and said:

👉 “This is who I am now.” 🤣

No.

👉 That was just Tuesday.

Relax.

This guide isn’t here to take you back into your wounds.

👉 You’ve already been there.

You’ve unpacked it, analyzed it, cried about it, journaled about it…
and maybe even tried to “figure it out” like you were reading your own life like a deck of cards 😅🔮

👉 We’re not doing that again.

👉 We’re moving forward.

This guide is here to teach you something else:

👉 How to live after the healing.

How to hold peace… without needing everything to go your way.

How to move through your days… without turning every feeling into a full documentary 🎬😅

How to stay with yourself… even when it would be easier to:

  • distract
  • react
  • scroll
  • text someone you already know is not the answer 😅📱

There’s no final breakthrough coming.

No moment where everything clicks and stays perfect forever.

No “I have healed and will never be slightly unhinged again” certificate. 😅🎓

👉 There is only this:

👉 How you respond.
👉 How you regulate.
👉 How quickly you come back to yourself… after you drift.

Because you will drift.

👉 You’re human… not a Wi-Fi connection with perfect signal. 📶😅

Sometimes you’re strong.
Sometimes you’re buffering. 😅

The goal isn’t perfection.

It’s:
👉 shorter detours
👉 less chaos
👉 less emotional hangovers
👉 less “why did I do that?” moments at 2am 😅

And more:

  • awareness
  • choice
  • self-respect in real time

👉 You’re not starting over.
👉 You’re not back at the beginning.

👉 You’re just no longer in survival mode.

And now…

👉 you’re learning how to live like it.

Not perfectly.
Not flawlessly.

👉 But consciously.

And that?

👉 That’s where everything actually begins to change. 🔥✨
